Public Health Foundation Enterprises Inc./Just Communities (formerly NCCJ) - Youth Organizers (Santa Barbara/Ventura Cos., CA)

California Lutheran University / KCLU – CrossTalk

    $28,870 operating support for only locally-produced public issues call-in talk show focusing on regional social and political issues.  www.kclu.org
 

SB CORE – No. Co. Community Action Program (Santa Barbara Co., CA)

    $35,121 to support staff and program of progressive network bringing together groups of activists and volunteers to focus on public policy issues and work for change in North County. 
 

CAUSE – Centro Mujer (Ventura Co., CA)

  CAUSE/Arts for Action– Operation Opt-Out and Seeds of a New Day (Ventura Co., CA)
    $25,000 operating support for development of community garden and continuation of two programs created by youth-led collective.   www.artsforaction.org
 

Environmental Defense Center – Central Coast Environmental Health Project (Santa Barbara Co., CA)

    $35,000 to support peer-based bi-lingual (Spanish and an indigenous language) Train the Trainer outreach program about pesticide-related risks to farmworkers.   www.ccehp.org

Foundation for Educational and Employment Resources Development - Community Organizing for Rights and Equality (CORE) program (Oxnard, CA)
